We are so excited that you are considering shopping with us for your wedding gown. If you are wondering how this whole process works and maybe you are even a little nervous about shopping for your wedding gown, we have made a list of frequently asked questions and some helpful tips to help navigate you through your appointment and beyond!

Do I need an appointment? 

Although we try to accommodate walk-ins on weekdays, we recommend making an appointment to ensure you have a fitting room and a personal consultant to assist you. On Saturdays, appointments are required. This is a very special time and we want to provide you with an exceptional experience. Appointments help us to better prepare for this exciting time in your life. We would like to ask out of courtesy for others, as well as, you receiving the best experience, please refrain from talking on your cell phone during your appointment. We appreciate your courtesy in this matter.

*Starting 10.7.14 we will be asking for a credit card number in order to hold your appointment.  If you must cancel your appointment, please call 24 hrs in advance.  If you do not show up for your appointment and do not call, we will charge the card on file a $25 fee for holding your spot.  Thank you for your consideration.

How long will my appointment last?
Our appointments are set up for one and a half hour increments. This can be somewhat flexible during the week, but Saturdays we do have to adhere to this time-frame. If you are running late, please understand that this will take time away from your appointment.

What should I wear to my appointment?

We recommend wearing undergarments that you are comfortable in. We do offer strapless bras for try-ons, but if you have one that you prefer, then you should bring it with you. Panties, please  You will have a personal consultant assisting you with the gowns and this just makes everyone more comfortable.

Are food and drink allowed? 

No. On occasion we offer our guests refreshments on Saturdays, but we appreciate you not bringing in your own. You can have Champagne in your dressing room, if you let us know in advance, we will have glasses waiting.

How many people can I bring to my appointment?

We love family and friends but we suggest keeping the number small. Too many opinions in a bridal dressing room can be overwhelming, frustrating and confusing to you, the Bride. Bring the people whose opinions you trust most and that will respect your choice. Also, we are a small boutique with limited space. 

I just got engaged.  When should I start shopping for my wedding gown?

Most wedding gowns are going to take four-six months to produce. Then you will need approximately two months for alterations. Eight-twelve months is a good time to start, but we sell to many brides that have well over a year until their wedding.

I don't have 6-8 months.  What do I do? 

No worries. We will sell any of our in-stock gowns off the floor. Also, some of our companies keep inventory on select gowns and some will offer rush cuts.

I found THE ONE, now what?

Congratulations!! The deposit amount to get your gown ordered is 50% of the cost of the gown.  Your balance is due the week your gown arrives, and, once collected, we set up an appointment for a pre-fit. This is when you come in to see your gown for the first time and try it on! If you have not already chosen accessories (veil, jewelry, shoes, etc.) this is a good time to do that. You may keep your gown here until the first fitting with your seamstress.
